Position: Inside Sales Representative

An Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business by following up on inbound marketing leads, qualifying their needs, selling appropriate SISA products and services, and developing strong customer satisfaction via phone (inside sales) and web contact.

This representative will be responsible for:
a) Meet or exceed monthly and annual quota
b) Provide prompt phone/email follow up to all inbound leads and properly document and track results
c) Effectively forecast business
d) Maintain pipeline of 3x quota
e) Host online presentations and demonstration
f) Build and maintain knowledge base to become an expert on SISA products and services
g) Utilize CRM to track all pertinent information related to the opportunity and effectively manage territory

1) Excellent verbal (via telephone) and written (via email) communication skills Strong listening skills and presentation skills
2) Strategic sales capabilities which support selling to Chief Information Security Officers/IT Security Managers, balanced with tactical skills for a fast-paced, high volume lead follow-up environment
3) Ability to build strong rapport, establishes trust and credibility through a consultative approach, and balance assertive sales follow-up without being overly aggressive
4) A self-starter who can effectively work within a strong team culture
5) Time Management skills — able to manage multiple priorities effectively
6) A technical aptitude with:
a) Solid technology or related direct sales background with proven history of quota over achievement
b) Experience selling business software applications and/or web-based software very valuable
7) Proven ability to close business via phone
8) Understanding of IT Security space is desirable
9) Highly effective at web-based product demonstrations
