Headspring is a leading custom software, systems integration, and mobile application development company. We are looking for a talented and passionate content marketer to join our Austin team. You’ll work on exciting projects to expand our company’s digital footprint, build awareness, generate leads, and be the voice of our brand value in market. The ideal candidate possesses a mix of strong communication skills alongside excellent writing and editing skills. You’re gifted with words, a grammar guru, creative, collaborative, and appreciate the value of a strong brand. You’ll make an immediate impact within our team and craft compelling content to tell the Headspring story.

The day to day:

Write, edit, and proofread content across mediums including emails, blogs, testimonials, landing pages, case studies, webinar scripts, and articles
You cut through the noise, move audiences to act, and create stories and content experiences that matter to our audience
Optimize content for SEO, identity new keyword opportunities, and support long term SEO strategy
Manage all AdWords spend and optimization
Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Twitter and LinkedIn
Collaborate with developers, project managers, and sales to produce relevant content. Working with SMEs, support the development of thought leadership pieces
Ensure all content is on-brand with consistent style, tone, and quality
Adhere to the content calendar. You’ll ensure we have a consistent flow of content to support robust programs to drive quarterly initiatives and demand generation goals

To qualify you will need:

3+ years’ experience as a writer, content creator or marketing communications
Exceptional writing and editing skills. You know what makes a great headline, you can craft a persuasive story, and you can create, curate, edit, and re-purpose
High attention to detail
The ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business across all mediums
Proficient in Google Adwords and Google Analytics. Ability to manage the account and reporting to drive optimizations
Rock solid understanding of SEO writing. You optimize for readers, not just algorithms
Strong ability to guide the content creation process full lifecycle from ideation to creation to distribution
Self-starter and highly motivated individual


B2B marketing and technology experience preferred. Bonus for having worked in the software/consulting space
Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo
Familiarity with platforms such as WordPress, Salesforce, social media monitoring, content curation, content syndication
